On January 12, 2010, at approximately 5 p.m. local time Haiti was struck by an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude. The epicenter of this quake was 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital and largest city. Thousands upon thousands are now deceased, many more injured. Most of the population of Port-au-Prince is currently sleeping in the streets either homeless from the even or terrified that their home might crumble on top of them due to continuing aftershocks. The smell of death fills the air?
