DEFENDING THE FATHERLESS: Since our March 2006 trip to Gantier Haiti, one of the poorest most forgotten regions of the country, our eyes and hearts have been opened to the realization of a need for an orphanage in this region.  We need YOUR Help to make this a reality...

We are looking forward to opening an orphanage that will care for eight orphaned children to begin with, these children will truly be rescued from horrific situations.  Many of the children in Gantier have lost one or both parents to death, or have been abandoned and left with no other family member who has a means to care for them. These children suffer from severe malnutrition and have a history of medical ailments, they urgently need proper nutrition and medical care. The needs of an orphanage are great and never ending.  As the children grow, their appetites increase and clothing sizes continue to change. The orphanage will be small and will need to operate on a minimal budget, but compared to the streets these children are used to, this will be a life of luxury for them where they will have the security of food, clothing, shelter, love and education on a daily basis.
