MISSION TRIPS: GCOM is looking for Volunteers across the USA and Canada to go to Haiti for a visit,and work with our Orphanage, School and Church development, Feeding and sponsorship programs.
If you are interested in becoming a team member, or taking a group to Haiti for a 1+ week mission trip, please contact us for more information. A one week trip will truly be an unforgettable life-changing event for those of all ages. You will have an opportunity to experience the Haitian culture, evangelize, preach, minister, serve, learn and show your talents with the orphans, and needy people. You will have the ability to offer humanitarian aid, make new friends, explore Haiti's countryside and mountains, while gaining a new awareness for missions and possibly changing someone's life forever!

Why Should Our Group go on a Mission Trip with GCOM?
Our Mission Trips are affordable, Safe, Christ Centered, and Hassle Free; we offer a variety of ministry options, flexible trip dates, experienced trip leaders and staff, free consultations, fundraising tips, promotional materials, and trip handbooks.
Your Safety
Your safety is our number one priority! We recommend that you have medical insurance coverage that will cover any medical,
dental, or evacuation that may take place during the course of your stay. We always travel in groups and do not recommend individual outings, we will train you on what is safe to eat and drink, our staff is experienced and always equipped with a
local cell phone, transportation, and a first aid kit.
Available Trip Dates: Dates are available on a first come first served basis and are available year round. Please check our list of scheduled trips for available travel dates.
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person is required to hold the dates of your choice. This deposit will apply to your overall cost for participation.
This trip
We will meet in Miami on the 15th of December and fly into Haiti on December 16th. This trip is a medical mission, our primary focus will be to meet the medical needs of Haitian people in any way possible. We will be carrying in donations of medications and medical supplies, visiting a children wing of a hospital, collaborating with Haitian doctors and nurses, as well as visiting
some orphanages. We will take some side trips with opportunities to shop
An idea of your costs for this trip will be:
- $525 to be sent with your application for (drivers, tipping, escort fee, etc.)
- $380 airfare and luggage costs from Miami to PAP, Haiti (roundtrip) on American Airlines
- $45(+tax) per night for lodging (when you share with another person)
- Approx. $25 per day for meals in Haiti
- your cost for whatever you want for spending/souvenirs

Private trip options for groups of 10+ individuals include:

Group Size: Please limit your group size to 15 individuals maximum. This allows us the greatest flexibility in arranging meals and ground transportation.
Ministry Options Include:
Childrens Ministry- Vacation Bible School, dramas, puppets, crafts, worship, interactive games, Bible stories, and sports.
Church Ministry- Attend of participate in Church and Sunday School.
School Ministry- Lead chapel services, sit in on classes, participate at recess, and fellowship with kids during and after school.
Mercy Ministry- Showing compassion and care to individuals in Orphanages, Hospitals, Prisons, and Senior Citizens Centers.
Evangelism- Hand out bibles, distribute worship CDs in the native language, door-to-door evangelism.
Youth Ministry- Lead evening youth gatherings and provide teaching, worship, and fellowship |

LODGING AND MEALS WHILE IN HAITI ARE NOT INCLUDED WITHIN TRIP FEES.
This is just a "best guess" of what your expenses will run based on prior trips. You must have a valid passport (with expiration date good for 6 months after your departure date from Haiti). Please consult your physician for suggested vaccinations and malaria medication. Your tetanus needs to be current.
Be sure you have insurance coverage that will cover any medical emergency while in Haiti including evacuation if needed. If you need coverage, let us know and we can give you some information.
