CHURCH BUILDING AND PLANTING: GCOM is currently working with a local Pastor In Ganthier to rebuild his small church that is at the present time made mostly out of thatch. In 2005, GCOM donated some money to help him repair it. But we would like to re-build  the church so that it is able to withstand the sometimes violent tropical weather conditions; at the present time the roof leaks when it rains.

We would also like to build sturdy benches, a pulpit, and an outdoor toilet facility. This Church not only serves as a place of worship, but there is also a small school in partnership with the Church, and in March 2006 GCOM was able to donate some school supplies. Our goal is to make this church a place where children can learn about God, while they get an education. This opportunity will provide the people of Ganthier both a place of worship and a place for Education.
